Cang Earned Top Staffing Recognition in Engineering, Information Technology, and Scientific Sector
Conexus MedStaff’s Celine Cang, a medical technologist from the Philippines and currently working in a hospital laboratory in Maryland, was named the American Staffing Association’s 2025 National Staffing Employee All-Star for the Engineering, Information Technology, and Scientific sector.
The National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Star program recognizes the most outstanding temporary and contract workers in the country. The announcement also marks the beginning of National Staffing Employee Week, which recognizes the contributions of millions of workers employed by staffing agencies across the country.
In 2023, 2.4 million temporary and contract workers were employed by staffing agencies, according to ASA. Celine is one of five individuals recognized in all of staffing, selected from the largest number of candidates ASA received for this recognition this year.
Originally from Butan City, Philippines, Celine graduated from Centro Escolar University in Manila, Philippines, and has five years of experience working as a medical laboratory scientist. She moved to Maryland in 2022, to pursue her dreams of launching a career in the U.S., where she is already establishing roots and contributing to solving for the ongoing lab staffing shortage. Celine was recently named to Medical Laboratory Observer’s 55 Under 55 list.

As a National Staffing Employee of the Year All-Star, Celine and Conexus MedStaff will be recognized at the 2024 Staffing World convention and expo, held in Nashville, TN from October 22 -24.
