We are proud to share that Celine Cang, a Conexus medical technologist, has been named a finalist for American Staffing Association’s National Staffing Employee of the Year recognition. This honor highlights Celine as a top staffing employee that is currently working in the U.S.
Celine, originally from the Philippines, is currently excelling as a medical technologist working in a hospital laboratory in Maryland. While Celine has years of experience as a medical technologist, her transition to working in the U.S., while challenging at times, has been both rewarding and fulfilling. In her own words she shares, “Starting work in the U.S. felt nerve-wracking at first because of the different people and backgrounds. There was this mixture of excitement and fear, not knowing exactly what to expect. However, as I allowed myself some time to adapt and become familiar with the environment, I started making friends at work. I faced new challenges and learned a lot, which made everything more comfortable and enjoyable.”
The National Staffing Employee of the Year program recognizes the most outstanding temporary and contract workers in the country. With more than 100 nominations submitted, Celine is one of nine finalists to be recognized.
“Celine embodies the qualities of being young, vibrant, excitable, and extraordinary,” shares her Conexus Engagement Manager. “From her beginnings in the Philippines to her arrival in the United States, she has faced challenges head-on and swiftly risen to rockstar status. As her manager, I couldn’t be prouder of her positive attitude, her willingness to tackle anything that comes her way, and her undeniable zest for life. As a National Staffing Employee of the Year Finalist, Celine and Conexus MedStaff will be recognized at the 2024 Staffing World convention and expo, held in Nashville, TN from Oct. 22-24. Recipients of the National Staffing Employee of the Year program will be announced September 9.
